At Park Outfitters the environment is not just an important issue; it’s a way of life and a commitment that governs everything we do and every decision we make. We started as a company committed to the celebration and preservation of our nation’s environment as embodied in our national parks, and we remain committed to that core value.

Our Green Manifesto

Green is more than just our company’s main color, it is at the heart of how we do business. Here are a few examples:

• We use print-on-demand technology which means no wasted inventory production, shipping and/or storage. We don’t make it till you need it.
• We are an ‘online only’ retailer which eliminates the carbon emissions that our brick and morter cousins produce.
• We choose business partners based in part on their environmental commitment.
• We offer many of our products in eco-friendly versions such as hemp and organic cotton.
• We use recycled, reclaimed and non-toxic materials in many of our hand-made products.
• Our websites are carbon-balanced through the use of carbon offsets from TerraPass.
• We are members of the Sustainable Furnishings Council and the Designers Accord.
• We feature environmental messages in many of our products.
• We continually seek out new ways to raise environmental awareness and create a more sustainable world.
